Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Sri Lanka will soon introduce automated border control gates (e-gates), to speed up passport processing. Passengers will be able to scan their passports independently, while the system automatically detects invalid or fraudulent documents.
This technology aims to boost airport efficiency and enhance security measures.
