SriLankan Airlines has announced the suspension of all flights to Pakistan, including services to Lahore and Karachi, until further notice. This decision comes in response to the rapidly deteriorating security situation following reported Indian precision strikes and Pakistan’s subsequent suspension of flight operations at key airports, including Lahore, Karachi and Sialkot.
Earlier, the airline had only halted flights to Lahore due to unrest and heightened military activity. However, with escalating regional tensions and the closure of major Pakistani airspace, SriLankan Airlines has extended the suspension to include Karachi as well.
Passengers affected by these changes are advised to contact the airline for alternative arrangements. SriLankan Airlines reaffirms that the safety of its passengers and crew remains its top priority.
