Airbus has delivered the first A320 Family aircraft assembled at its second final assembly line in Tianjin to China Eastern Airlines, marking a major milestone in its expansion in China.
The new line, inaugurated in October 2025, brings Airbus’ global total to 10 final assembly lines. Airbus is targeting production of 75 A320 Family aircraft per month.
China is expected to require 8,830 new passenger aircraft over the next 20 years, representing more than 20% of global demand.
