An AirAsia flight (AK47) arriving from Malaysia was diverted to Trivandrum Airport, India, on the night of the 27th due to adverse weather conditions affecting Sri Lanka.
The aircraft had been scheduled to land at Katunayake at 9.50 p.m., but poor weather forced the diversion as a safety precaution.
So far, this is the only inbound flight reported to have been diverted due to the prevailing weather situation.
