Russian carrier Aeroflot has resumed its Moscow-Colombo service from 3 October 2026, initially operating two weekly flights.
The airline had suspended the route in May due to the seasonal decline in tourist arrivals. The resumed service is being operated with Boeing 777-300 aircraft, restoring a direct air link between Russia and Sri Lanka ahead of the winter travel season.
