SriLankan Airlines has officially appointed A. K. D. D. Dimal Arandara as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, confirming his leadership role at the national carrier with immediate effect.
Arandara had been serving as Acting Chairman following the resignation of former Chairman Sarath Ganegoda. The latest appointment formalizes his position as Chairman and has been made with the concurrence of the President of Sri Lanka, according to an internal communication issued by the airline.
The Board of Directors currently comprises Dimal Arandara as Chairman, together with Flt./Lt. (Rtd.) Sugath Rajapakse, Vipula Gunatilleka, Herath Banda and Niluka Madampe.
