Australia’s Jetstar Airways has launched its inaugural direct flight to Colombo, departing Melbourne for Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) today (25).
The inaugural service is being operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, marking Jetstar’s first-ever service to Sri Lanka and opening a new direct air link between Melbourne and Colombo.
Jetstar’s arrival is expected to strengthen connectivity between Australia and Sri Lanka, while providing travellers with another option for direct travel between the two destinations.
