Sri Lanka has welcomed more than 1.1 million international visitors so far in 2026, with 82,332 tourist arrivals recorded between 1 and 21 June.
India remains the country’s largest source market with 281,418 visitors, followed by the United Kingdom with 104,751 arrivals. Russia, China and Germany complete the top five source markets, continuing to drive Sri Lanka’s tourism recovery in 2026.
