FitsAir has expanded its route network with the launch of direct flights between Colombo and Ahmedabad, India. The service will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, enhancing tourism, business and cultural connectivity between Sri Lanka and Gujarat.
To mark the inaugural flight from Ahmedabad, a special welcome ceremony was held at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), attended by airline officials and industry stakeholders. The new route has been launched in partnership with City of Dreams Sri Lanka, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts and Walkers Tours Sri Lanka.
