Riyadh Air unveils 5 new destinations as fleet grows to 3 Dreamliners

Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Air has announced five new destinations and opened ticket sales as it prepares to begin commercial operations. The airline revealed that its growing fleet now includes three Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, with the latest aircraft recently arriving in Jeddah.

The carrier will initially operate flights from Riyadh to Cairo, Dubai, Jeddah, Madrid and Manchester. Riyadh Air has also brought forward the launch of its London service to 10th June 2026, following the early delivery of new aircraft.

The first services will commence with Jeddah on 14 June, followed by Dubai on 18 June, Cairo on 25 June, Madrid on 17 July and Manchester on 23 July. All routes will be operated using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.

Riyadh Air aims to receive 10 aircraft by the end of 2026 and plans to expand its network to more than 100 destinations worldwide by 2030, supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a global aviation and logistics hub. (Gulf News)
