Sri Lanka has reached a significant milestone in defence cooperation with the United States following the arrival of ten TH-57 ‘Sea Ranger’ helicopters.
The aircraft are expected to be inducted into service with the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) in the near future, enhancing the country’s aviation training capabilities while also supporting humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR), search and rescue operations, and other essential air missions.
The addition of these helicopters is set to further strengthen the operational readiness and versatility of the SLAF.
