The final round of interviews for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position of SriLankan Airlines is scheduled to take place today (25), according to sources.
The interviews were initially planned for 21 May 2026 but were later postponed.
Reports indicate that four candidates have been shortlisted, including one Sri Lankan applicant and three foreign candidates reportedly from the UK, Gulf region and Africa.
The airline’s key leadership positions have remained under acting appointments for several months, with Dimal Arandara currently serving as Acting Chairperson and Yasantha Dissanayake continuing as Acting CEO.
