Ten candidates have been shortlisted for the next round of interviews for the CEO position at SriLankan Airlines, with interviews scheduled to take place next week, sources say.
The interview process is expected to be conducted by the Chairman and the Board of Directors. However, unofficial sources indicate that changes to both the Board and the Chairmanship are likely in the near future.
SriLankan Airlines has been without a permanent Chief Executive Officer for nearly a year, following the official departure of Richard Nuttall at the end of April 2025. The appointment of a capable and permanent CEO is seen as a critical step in steering the national carrier forward.
