Chamara Sampath Dassanayake, who raised questions in Parliament regarding the national carrier, stated that the application submitted by the former Chief Executive Officer of Papua New Guinea’s national airline has been rejected by the government.
Meanwhile, SriLankan Airlines has received nearly 200 applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer, Janitha Ruwan Kodithuwakku, Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation, informed Parliament yesterday (03).
He further revealed that 75 applicants have been shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
