Beijing Capital Airlines is set to commence operations at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Sri Lanka, from 31 January 2026, marking a significant expansion in air connectivity between Sri Lanka and China.
The airline will operate twice-weekly direct services between Beijing Daxing International Airport and Colombo every Tuesday and Saturday. This new route is expected to enhance tourism, trade, and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
With the addition of Beijing Capital Airlines, BIA continues to strengthen its position as a key regional aviation hub, offering passengers greater travel options and improved connectivity across Asia.
