Two Enter Air Boeing B737 aircraft from Poland arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake on 31st October, marking the start of the airline’s winter operations to Sri Lanka.
The first flight from Katowice touched down at 9:50 a.m., followed by a second flight from Warsaw at 11:00 a.m. Both arrivals were greeted with a traditional water cannon salute.
A total of 378 passengers and 16 crew members were on board the two inaugural flights. Enter Air will operate eight weekly flights between Katowice, Warsaw and Katunayake throughout the winter season.
