The Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL) recently met with Mr. Hugh Sriyal Dissanayake, Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Philippines in Sri Lanka, to discuss key matters related to visa facilitation and travel coordination between the two countries.
The TAASL delegation included Mr. Sabry Bahaudeen, Mr. Shanaka Fernando, Mr. Riza Ahamed, Mr. Dishal De Silva, Mr. Romesh Samaranayake and Dr. Duminda Kuruwitaarachchi. During the meeting, several important industry concerns were raised, with both parties emphasizing the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the travel and tourism sectors.
As a next step, TAASL announced plans to organize a training session for its members to enhance their understanding and efficiency in visa-related processes, further supporting smoother travel between Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
