Sri Lanka recorded its highest-ever September tourist arrivals in 2025, welcoming 158,971 visitors. This surpasses the previous September record of 149,087 set in 2018. Compared to September 2024, which saw 122,140 arrivals, this year marks a 30.2% increase, underscoring the strong momentum in the country’s tourism sector.
