The Passenger Agency Programme Global Joint Council (PAPGJC) convened in Singapore on 14-15 September 2024, gathering global aviation leaders and travel agency representatives to discuss key issues shaping the future of air travel.
 
Representing PAPGJC as UFTAA Director, Duminda Kuruwitaarachchi actively contributed to discussions on strengthening industry collaboration, advancing sustainability, and redefining the role of travel agents in a rapidly evolving aviation landscape.
 
Sri Lanka’s participation at this global forum, historically limited, marked an important step in ensuring the country’s travel industry has a strong and informed voice on international aviation matters.
