Sabre and IAAC unveil Sri Lanka’s first dedicated Travel Technology Training Center

In a landmark move to elevate travel technology education in South Asia, Sabre Sri Lanka, a joint venture partner of Sabre Corporation, a leading global technology company, partnered with the International Airline and Aviation College (IAAC) to launch Sri Lanka’s first dedicated Sabre Training Center.

Located at IAAC’s Colombo City campus, the cutting-edge facility is designed to empower aspiring travel professionals with hands-on experience and industry-relevant skills in Sabre’s globally recognized Global Distribution System (GDS). This system is widely used by airlines, travel agencies, and tour operators around the world.

Key features of the Sabre Training Center include:

  • Certified Sabre Training Programs
  • Real-time GDS Simulations
  • Practical Training Labs
  • Internship and Career Placement Support

Sanjika Perera, Country Manager of Sabre Sri Lanka, shared his excitement about the initiative: “We are proud to collaborate with IAAC, a premier aviation training institution in Asia.
